I am from Peru and u'r gonna have a blast!!. Go check Iquitos out if you can, very tropical, small little "city" by the Amazon. I grew up there and the food is amazing!!! ohhh so jealous. I haven't gone back in 4 years!!!

Have a great trip. We're headed to hotlanta tomorrow for a few days of fun. But somehow that seems dull compared to Peru. ;)
