Pardon the Interruption

Sorry folks. Been busy. And been living like a savage without internet connection for too long now. But that's been remedied. So your lives will be empty no longer. Now all I have to do is figure out what to write. Any ideas? Any relationship issues you want me to tackle?

By the way, Susan (aka GF) has started a blog. Sort of. Check it out.

  • Well here is an idea - I see that you show that your gf started a blog, my bf has a blog, and I just started one, he is a link on my blog but he doesnt list me as a link, or even mention me on his blog.......

  • Just wondering, why is it when I click on the old As I please link I get an online pharmacy trying to schill anxiety pills?

  • Susan's inspired me to create a blog called "Pies in my food hole." It'll be dedicated to Hostess Fruit Pie erotica.

  • Anonymous,
That's an interesting issue. I'd say if he's simply running a personal blog, like "Yadda yadda yadda this is my life," then you dump his ass. (And I'd love to hear what his excuse is for not linking to you ... other than wanting lady readers to think he's single).

If his blog, though, is something specifically about sports or politics or business or somesuch, then cut him slack. If I ran a politics or business blog, I'd feel a little silly linking to Susan's piehole list.

  • Have you written at all about the rules for blogging once you have a girlfriend who reads your blog? I see a number of dating blogs that are in transition because the main poster is now in a relationship, and at times, I wonder how they break the cycle of anonymity after posting for 3 months about this chick they've been dating.

Do dating bloggers come out of the closet to girls they date when it gets serious and say, "I blogged about you?"

  • Well Ken (if I can call you that LOL), his blog is not specifically geared to anything except his thoughts and comments on the world in general.

I haven't yet asked him why he hasn't linked to me, maybe he does want women to think he is single?
But I will let you know when I find out which should be any moment now.....

  • Is your girlfriend trying to starve herself to death?

By Blogger Trouble, at 1:58 PM

  • Obviously not. Have you seen her lists. She might eat little snippets of snacks, but when she sits down to dinner ... SHE SITS DOWN TO DINNER ... if you know what I mean.

She should be the spokesperson for Tums or Rolaids or whatever: "I can't believe I ate the whole thing."

  • My boyfriend knows about my blog, and I often bounce ideas off him, but that doesn't mean I want him TO READ IT. I write about relationships and sex. And being the whore that I am, I had sex with other guys before I met him. I have quite an extensive backlog of stories that regularly come out to add some texture to a dating topic. When I started the blog I "strongly discouraged" him from reading it, unless he wanted to stumble upon a post about the fantastic threesome I had with two best friends I met at a bar. But I think he has read it a few times--enough times that when I'm sitting up in bed typing on the laptop, he very intentionally does not look over or make eye contact until the laptop closes. It's really best that way.
