Ground-Breaking Report

Boy, if I was the bitter sort, I'd gripe about the New York Post running an article called Your Lays Are Numbered, that included some of the most painfully obvious "news" ever printed -- and did so without making me laugh even once. But I'm not the bitter sort. Nope.

  • I don't think bitterness has anything to do with it. This wasn't news. And it wasn't comedy. So what was the point? Thanks, Ken. Now I'm going to spend my whole day worrying that there was a salient, meaningful, poignant point to this article, and that I still missed it.

  • The average is 10-15 partners for a woman? Man...I know lots of women who had that many partners last YEAR. Louisiana girls are friendly.

  • Really when it comes down to it, numbers don't and shouldn't matter, speaking as a sexually active young woman, as long as the person is doing what they want to, is consenting and for healthy good reasons then it is all good as far as I am concerned!
I have yet to meet anyone who wants or needs to know my number count!

  • God, I really was a slut in my younger days...and here I was feeling all self-righteous in comparison to those whorish types in Sex in the City.

Ehem. Time to be quiet now.

Of course, I suppose I can fall back on saying I've only had 3 in the past 15 years. Which is true.
